Another up-date on my '63

Whole lotta work going on. My best option was to get a whole quarter panel and it was 100% the most accurate and proper way to go at least for me. The wheel arch was break formed, shrunk and heated while clamped in order to conform to the shape of the arch. The inside is smooth like factory and once I get some rust proofing on there will be invisible. This about the only patch and I've decided to replace the rockers, floors and quarters. Miraculously the doors are original and 100% rust free as were the sills.

Cheers
Vince

Wow!

That is impressive work Vince
I cannot weld good enough to do anything like that.
I love the blue on that car.

I cannot take the credit. A good friend of mine is doing it. The color is Iris Blue, MGB's first color. I'm keeping it that way too.

Great work Vince! That will last another 40 years for sure. I would be interested in seeing some pix of how you did the Bead along the top of the rear fender.I've always kinda wondered how I would do it if and when I ever do and what the proper way of joining it all up is?
Thanks for the update...Mark
