My drive today doesn't really count since its in a GMC, but leaving Glacier Park MT for Grand Forks ND today on hwy 2, then back to IA. The part that does count is I am bringing with the perfect wood heating stove for the shop. Anxious to hook it up and get to work. See you in a few days.............
 
Took the Mini out today for a 30 mile run, crisp cool 50 degrees with pure sunshine today in South Carolina. Got me some $1.76 gas.
 
Wow, $1.76 gas! I think we pay that much in tax per gallon here in PA.

May I suggest camping out with Tinster for the winter as an alternative to shivering in Connecticut.

Banjo has a thread in the Pub, where he mentioned the fact Dale has been noticeably absent from the forum since his post of trouble on the cruise.
I hope all is well. If no reply in a day, I'll call and post my findings.

Saturday we drove the Arcosanti, a futuristic city in the Arizoa desert. I let a colleague drive mu Spitfire and my wife and I drove the her's. We drove north from Phoenix on Interstate 17 to Arcosant then on to winery for lunch and wine tasting. The Interstate is not much fun. O the way home it was sunshine, blue sky, and windng road. All the cars made the trip without any "side of the road" conferences. Great top down weather.
