And my Birthday isn't even close

I saw that one. Bring that one home and the wife will never forgive you... "but honey, think of all the other non-running rusty heaps I can drag home with this."

Yep, I'm still looking for one of these (yes, I really do have a thing for COE's).

There's a Berlina! W00T!!!

I have that Matchbox.......

Nice! (Is it the same car? or do they all rust like that?)

It's Italian !!
Of course they all rust.

My favourite line from the guy I got the Multipla from, "It's Italian, they rust in the brochures."

But seriously, is that your car?

Nicely done, Donn!

Unfortunately, the only ones we see around here are already reverted to ore. Or so overpriced as to be unaffordable.

Good work on bringing that Alfa back to life! What year is it?

I picked up the one on the RWP site after it sat for 27 years under a tree. Every single body panel had rust holes, roof included. It was the rustiest Alfa I have ever seen.

However, sitting under a tree for all that time did a wonderful job of preserving the interior, so there were still some parts to salvage from it.

That's impressive! I wouldn't even bother bringing it home. Am I correct in assuming that you have a decent car that the interior parts went into? If so, we need pictures.

Holy F***, that's a bit worse than mine! You're not seriously considering repairing that are you?
They are otherwise mostly available in Germany and Belgium nowadays.

Mobile.de is a good place to start for a parts or complete car, but a bit expensive.

These guys have parts,

https://www.alfa-romeo-onderdelen.nl/inde...=71&lang=en
https://www.alfa-romeo-onderdelen.nl/inde...=50&lang=en

or search for "ersatzteile" or "vervangende onderdelen"

But I think you would really be better off putting two cars together, preferably if the doner car is the primary.

There's even one for sale very near me. (for $14000)

The car is long gone, I cut it up into small pieces and took the whole lot to the scrapper.

I have a '66 GTV that's a long-term project. I was able to salvage a few bits and pieces from the Giulia (a '69 1300 Ti, bytheway), including the pedal box, and traded the complete interior for a bundle of 2CV parts that I needed for another project.

You guys know (or know of) "Catman"?

alt.autos.alfaromeo, IIRC. He's over in Merry Olde.

...I miss my newsfroup access... :madder:

I would just like the Car Hauler
It is a nice shade of $$GREEN$$
