Anatomy of a Harley muffler

What ever you try, test a spot on the underside. Acetone and xylene are two solvents to try.
 
How about a Heat Gun. I peeled 20 y.o. vinyl striping off of the SeaRay in just a few seconds using heat gun and paint stir stick with an angle/edge sanded on it. Absolutley no damage to the fiberglass.
