TR6 Amperage leak?

Why does my 72 Tr6 suffer a slight battery charge loss during periods of storage…..car has no chips or computers or ECUs…,,where can the leak be found?
 
If you disconnect the positive off the battery and connect an ohm meter from negative to the positive cable ( not the battery possitive ) .
This will show if there is anything turned on pulling the battery down. If there is it is just a case of disconnecting stuff to find what it is.
My first choice would be alternator. I have known a bad alternator take a battery down.
 
Also - batteries lose charge over time, even just sitting on a shelf. The chemicals inside gradually "eat away" at the hardware, causing loss of charge. It's not necessarily because of a "drain" caused by a connection to the battery.
 
You can also check for a current drain by disconnecting the battery terminal and inserting an ammeter between the connections, ignition off. Use a multimeter, not the dashboard ammeter, as the latter is not precise enough. If you see an indication, start disconnecting things until the current drops to zero; that is the circuit with the problem.

A parasitic current drain is not uncommon in these cars. Also, as noted above, the self-discharge rate can become high enough, in an older battery, that it will go flat in a week or so.
 
Several things to check, one is your Alternator regulator could be leaving a voltage on the "field" and not lighting the IGN light or it my be on real dim.

Also, if you have a modern radio fitted, those typically draw some current while "off" to keep the clock and stations.
