Long term forecast map

Interesting the s.east coastline

Sorry to be late to the post, but just got power back after 6 days in the dark, 100+ temps. Will be 108 today but the window units can keep the rooms they are in down in the low 80's. I can't imagine how we coped before a/c (I can remember our ice-box during WW2). Biggest frustration was couldn't get into garage to do anything to the SP; an entrance door is not viable & electric door can not be released from exterior.

Geez! That sucks, Dale! We've gone "dark" a couple times but we're kinda prepped for it. Hurricanes, y'see.

...eat well for the first three days, then it's whatever you stashed as "dry goods" and cans. We've a larder, stocked so's the vittles last a month, minimum. Water usually stowed in five gallon jugs ahead of the event, as we get some warning. Now starting to adjust the paradigm with the water...

It's been over 100 several days straight here. 104 today. Down to 90 now and I am looking for a light jacket before I go outside!

104, but its a dry heat

Don, Does that white area on your weather map mean were going to get snow here in Oklahoma? :jester:. Been over 3 digits for the past week and still going strong. And what's this 62 degree thing up in your neck of the woods? Keep that up and you might be getting some visitors! . PJ

Yep Paul, I'm afraid that might have been one of the things we forgot to tell you before you moved here.
