All you in the Northeast

Predicting 3-6 inches here in southeast PA :blue:

yep - about a foot of snow expected, temps around -10F, gale force winds. Another typical nor'easter.

Twenty-four hours from now ...

Then Friday afternoon, the storm ends and I crank up the snow blower. ugh

I listened to the evening radio weather report on Radio One and it went something like this...

"Good evening, friends! For tomorrow's weather, take a look out your doors. What you see today is what you will see tomorrow and as far into the future as the weather wizards are willing to look. So I won't be making another weather report to you until there is something worth reporting."

That may be sometime about mid-month.

You're in the wrong thread :cool-new:

There is going to be a lot of this going on

Cold, cold, cold! starting to snow a bit... I'll believe it when I shovel it. What a lousy time to get a new toy that's for summer........hehehehehe

Just dang cold here. Too cold to snow actually.

Predicting single digits here by Fri morning.... turn off that cold air from the north JP.

By the way - 2014 rings in with record low temps.

(Be quite Doc!)

Starting to get some light snow this AM on Long Island. The heavy stuff will come later in the afternoon. 4-12 inches are predicted depending on where you are on the island. I fall into the deeper category.

It's really horrible & cold here...barely 27 deg C. Or 80-81 in that old funny money...

What great photos! When you get tired of that TR, please send it to Connecticut. (after the snow melts ...)

Really envy you that scenery and weather. It's 1 degree Fahrenheit here, six inches snow so far, 30mph gusts. Yippee!

Tom

Did cheat a bit on the first one (google)-it'll be somewhere on the East coast or Northland by the look of it (rather be there than working...). Pic of my CR is on one of the hills (volcanoes) in my home town. That was actually our winter (though to be fair it's usually wetter...) Not bad at present though, it's not a bad place to live ;)

It's -11c here as I type this. Wish I was back in Kiwi Land.

This I understand.

sorry you can have it all! Was just chaperoning a youth retreat (which I am waay to old for BTW) last night was -35C with windchill. Rooms were fine but too cold for campfires and horseback riding and all the things they were supposed to be doing. Thank goodness we brought board games and dvds.

JP - good on you for doing that.

(But who schedules outdoors youth camping for January in your neck o' the woods ...???)
