Airliner identification challenge!

And the grand-daddy of them all, the one-off Convair 110.

AA wanted more passenger seats, and cabin pressurization, when they decided to replace the popular DC-3. The 110 didn't have those "high falutin' fancy dancy things", so Douglas re-thought the 110, and produced the 240 (and later, 340, 440, etc.)
 
1960 flew back to Cherry Point to be discharged in one of these. Smooth flight and not noisy as one might think. Navy RD6-1 Flew a few times in RD-4s. Flew down there from shore leave in a C-47 stopping off in Havana during the uprising. We had armed Cuban soldiers on the plane for security! Interesting for sure. :argue: PJ
