For veterans this is probably a no brainer, so this is advice for those just starting out, but removing the seats makes any work on the dash INFINITELY easier! I had toiled and nearly broke my back trying to do some work under the dash with the seats in. After taking the seats out I was able to remove the entire dash in about an hour. You can actually stretch out on your back and get access to everything under there! It took about 30 minutes to remove both seats. Just push the seat fully back, remove two bolts, push the seat fully forward and remove two bolts. Piece of cake and I wish I had just done this first thing! In the future I would not hesitate to remove the seats (seat) if I had to change a light bulb in the dash.
