That is one of the main reasons I selected T.They've been threatening to cancel my policy!"I tell people it keeps me off the streets."
Do you have AAA for those times the Healey keeps you off the street?

M, D, O, and occasionally T when one of our other cars is on the fritz.
O = for my daughter, who is autistic / nonverbal -- the combination of the sensory she gets from the top-down driving and the various noises and vibrations mixed with her innate curiosity to go exploring roads she hasn't traveled usually leads to an ear to ear grin for her.
my wife teaches autistic blind children, (has for 30 years) & she never gives up, but yours is a novel approach.
of course this means I'll have to teach her how to drive the 3.
I'm glad your Daughter has fun! that must be worth a million $$ or three.
Never sell that car.Oh, she does! Her first complete sentence that she ever formed other than one that starts "I want", was her pointing to a picture of my Sprite and saying "Go in car". It not only makes the purchase worth it, it makes every night I've spent tinkering on it worth it, too.
Just out of curiosity, I would like to tally the reasons why we waste time & money on these old quirky things.
appreciate your responses, in the form of :
(Pls. list multiple reasons in order of importance, or your own reasons)
D: for driver
S: for show (general)
C: for concours level show
N: for nostalgia
T: for transportation
I: for investment
M: for mechanical hobby or challenge
O: other

You will get different responses by going to different sites and forums. Folks who restore MG pre war and T series cars do it mostly for a challenge and the love of the old square radiator cars, plus are more reluctant to modify these cars from their original factory build. They are much more expensive to buy and restore, so the the amount of folks restoring them is a much smaller group than later models. Everyone has his or her own reason for doing this and a lot of circumstances in ones personal life is in control. To put a tag on this, such as, A,B,C, 1,2,3, etc is too general for a direct answer. Go to different specific forums for more specific answers if that is your desire and more than likely the answers will change drastically. JMHO. PJ
