I just tried as well, same thing...I have adobe...but the screen just goes bank....maybe I didn't wait long enough for it to load?

That's possible, but it opens in a few seconds for me. Are you dial up? (surely not).

Basil

PS: I'm using version 6.0.2 of adobe. It might be a browser issue nit an Adobe issue. Try right-clicking and download the file from there and open it on your hard drive (by-pass the browser).

Got it! And it's fantabulistic!

Re: Update - A "real" newsletter!

But who is this shy, retiring person you speak of?

Do you (and you. Jaybird) have a popup blocker installed? If so, try turing that off (or add www.Britishcarforum.com to your list of sites you'll accept popups from). I'm guessing it might me somethign like that since the file opens in a new window, the browser might think its a popup and try to block it. Just a hunch.

Hey Basil... What car is that on the Calendar page?

Oh, and a suggestion for the next newsletter...

Mystery Car! We all love playing the mystery car game! Ton's more fun than a crossword (IMHO).

The car in the picture on the calendar page is my own 1950 Daimler Special Sports. There were a total of 500 made between 1948 and 1954 (I wonnder how many were made in 1950?). I've seen varying reports regarding haw many survive today, but most suggest that about half of them are still around. Its not the rarest car in the world, but its the rarest I've ever owned.

My computer knows better than to block anything from BCF! But, glad it blocked the thing that zapped BCF last week.
