Then, I sold it (DUMB) when I joined the Air Force in Nov 72. I was carless unti I got to my first duty station after tech school. This was a 1974 Mercury Capri, which I bought off the showroom floor. That was a nice little car.In '71 I bought my first car. It was a brand new Ford Torino. Vinyl top, and 302 V8. Out the door for $3,500.
The Capri was the car I wanted to buy. I told the Capri dealer that I would buy the if he included the AM radio. He refused so I bought the Torino. The same day that I bought the Torino, the Capri dealer called to say they would include the radio.
