I spent a couple months at Cape Dyer Dew Line Station back in the day. This was when I was part of a team doing site surveys for locations to replace the Dew Line with the new North Warning system radars.
 
I experienced the 70's as a kid on the sidelines, but remembered it as the best decade and one of change. For example my Aunt was attending UCSB at the time and an activist of change. Recall the Isla Vista riots.
