The right-most bit is worth 1
The second bit, 2
then each bit going left doubles in value.

1 1 1 1 1=

16+8+4+2+1 = 31

The truth of the matter is, I WAS born in 1948 and yes that makes me 63 on 11-11-11

Are zeros, still zero in binary? In other words what would 101010 actually be?
