So, now that I've acquired a 3.9 diff, I'm half hoping to not have to deal with that high-torque nut.
My question is: if there is no trace of oil at the front of the diff, should I still replace the seal? I'll obviously replace the gasket to the diff housing. I'll also replace easy stuff like the seals at the axles when they're out.
