1962 3000 MKII BT7 Water pump replacement

Hi Guys,

About to replace the water pump. Is it possible that I have to remove the radiator? It doesn't look like there will be clearance to remove the pump. Any suggestions? Thanks J

I replaced my pump several years ago and do not remember removing the radiator. It probably would make it easier, and save some knuckle skin, but at worst you could try loosening the top bolts to get some more clearance.

Thanks Tim,

I found the service manual, and it indeed says to remove the radiator and the dynamo. That did not make sense to me. Much as you suggested, I was able to remove the radiator bolts and tilt it forward, allowing plenty of access. James
