TR2/3/3A 1958 TR3 Project

We are here in Mammoth Lakes for a few days. Heading up to go for a bike ride we saw an awesome green tr3 parked in the driveway. I rembered reading this thread. It has to be yours. Would have stopped but we are with a group of friends. Beautiful TR3.

Nice work Dan, I feel like I am the only one doing a project right now and it is a lonely world. Joel and Popeye are wrapping theirs up.

Just saw tinmans post...I should lurk more. Mines not quite on the road yet. Still in Mammoth though. Fellow who owns the green car works at the art gallery. My car should be done by fall. Almost ready for paint. Engine, trans and all mechanicals have been rebuilt. Found all the little parts over the last couple years that I was missing. Its been a fun process. I ended up buying a new to me house with a dedicated shop. The necessary remodel derailed the car build for quite a while. Once the shop got set up I spent the summer putting together my dad's tr6 project. Finally, got back to my project last summer. When you are in Mammoth next and see a blue tr3 - that will be me.

I picked up another 58 tr3 mess so i'll be starting over - hopefully later this next winter.

You should get some of those new pictures up... project is coming along nicely.

Welcome to the group.!!
I see you have an adjustable wheel /column.You may be changing this for the standard
steering setup due to bad plastic used on this style and the lack of replacements.
Best of luck. The good news is that most parts can be found if you ask about, there is
quite a deep well of knowledge here.
