From another post about tires rubbing against the wheel well, I mentioned that I maybe changing tire sizes from a 175R 15 to a 165HR 15.
Rather than exploring that tire question on that post, I've posted it fresh here.
My first question will be asked of you Keoke, for two reasons. You're very knowledgeable and you've commented twice, which I have now carried those to this post. The question is, is it true that all 165HR 15 tires will be as you say? Are you suggesting that the wider the tire, the less of that situation will happen? In advance, thank you Keoke.
You are not going to like them they will be hard as nails and the arse end of your car will bounce around all over the road---Keoke
How's about elaborating on that statement.
Hard as nails.
Rear end will bounce around
'Hard as nails'
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A tyre that is as hard as nails is physically tough ,STIFF, and has little or no respect for irregularities in the road and when these irregularities are encountered using these tyres they cause the arse end of the car to bounce around.--Fwiw--Keoke--
