1500 Crank Nut Size?

1 13/16

1 7/8"

You can pick on up in a kit with other large sockets at Harbor Freight for about $50.00.

I guaranty a 1 7/8" will work. And they are much easier to find.

So a place Like Tractor Supply, Farm & Fleet has large sockets in that size for < $10.00 each. Farmers need large tools to get off their big nuts. Or something like that. What's that joke about punnctuation in the proper place.

although, I went to do exactly that - with a list of three sockets - Crank/ Rear Bearing/ Nut for Oil filter spinner (and later nut on rear axle/ diff seal) for about $15 more I got a complete 3/4 drive socket set - here at Princess Auto, (not unlike Harbor Freight) - I've since found a ton O uses besides impressing the heck out of my friends

Harbor Freight it will be. especially since there's two on sale less than $50. Anyone in the same boat should endulge now as well. Good deals.

i bought mine at sears, that way i only buy it once. I am glad that i did too...that poor 12 pt chrome went thru the fires of Satan's forge at the working end of a 4 foot cheater. Then all of a sudden the crank nut, it just spun off...go figure.

in fact i think the same "yo yo"" that tightened that nut also did the oil filter on my Toyota last time...
