Any one have preferences on performance books for the 1275 A series. Wanted to read up on the motor as Ive only worked on the 1500 previously. Suggestions for good reading? I see there are a few out there.

"Tuning the A-Series Engine" by David Vizard. The bible on this motor.

Forgive me if the following information was also included in Recordsj's links above.

Des Hammill also wrote at least one book on the A-series and a book on performance tuning SU carbs.

Vizard is very good, a bit dated by today's racing standards, but still very good, everyone should hope for a book this good on their engine.

Isn't he teaching a college course somewhere down there in SC or maybe NC?

Daniel Stapleton's MG Midget AH Sprite high performance manual.
Just released late 2008, check Amazon.com
Oh yeah, I'm in this book too
