My bugeye currently has an 1100. Roughly how much would it cost to get a motor like this rebuilt?
Does anyone sell a running 1275, like a crate motor, so that all i would have to do is drop it in?
Would it be cheaper to buy a junker 1275 and rebuild it than buy a running 1275?
Also is the ribcase transmission mechanical or hydralic? I would like to get away from the current hydralic if i can.
I hope these ?'s make sense. I am going to be sticking with the current 1100 or getting a 1275. So no sr20de or other swap for me, What my dads says goes. He is cool with any swap, even sr20, but he would want the car to be able to be turned back to original if need be. And i think i would do to much surgery to do it, oh well. thanks
