A while back, someone said they were temporarily not available, due to fitment issues, but if anyone had bought regular steel headers from any of the usual sources in the last thirty years, Al was the guy that made them (my 1st set came from Sports & Classics, in 1978).
If he says he doesn't want to make them, be persistent (but pleasant)!
I've been told that you can go to 1.75" hole, but that is a lot of work. It would be probably better to locate a Ruddspeed manifold that is already set-up for 1.75" carbs.
