100-4 trans specs

I had the BN 2 trans rebuilt due to popping out of gear but it still does in 1st and 2nd. We have no specs to speak of regarding end play etc. Does anyone have such information?

It has new hub and syncro etc. Basically pretty new inside. We just don't know clearances etc.

Thanks for ANY help.

Did you replace all the balls and springs for the shift fork/rod detents?

All the xmsns I've done, I've always replaced them, and the ones in the synchro hubs (if they were reused). It's always cured the symptom of popping out of gear, no matter how bad it was beforehand.

Randy - thanks very much for your suggestion. I'll check with the mechanic on this.
