TR4/4A Fried Ignition Coil
1963 TR4 converted a couple of years ago to NEGATIVE Ground. I believe it is a non-ballasted coil. So... The car ran GREAT for my last trip a couple of weeks ago for 2 hours going and 2 hours returning with no hiccups. Preparing to go on errands today (Have not driven her for over a week), it... -

Backfire through carbs
Any help is appreciated. After I had the carbs rebuilt I began to have a constant backfire at all speeds. When I disconnect the #1 spark plug wire the backfiring stops. I have replace wires and distributor cap.- Jimkayh

MGB-GT distribution of problems
ok yes you should tackle one job at a time but .... ok so I'm doing a RHD to LHD Converstion so everything under the dash has un plugged. + new gas tank and distributer. Gas tank is painted and went in ok I may have cross threaded the brass pipe.... no leaks yet so I have hooked up the...- Sopwith_Camel

TR2/3/3A electronic distributor problem
My (brand name 1-2-3) distributor has failed three times in 4000 kilometers. The manufacturer of distributor thinks the failures are caused by my alternator. Can anyone explain what might be happening? I have electric fan, high torque starter, alternator, halogen headlights, high power coil...
