Front flahers/markers

Agreed. The put a VOM on it works. If tears are working correctly then issue is likely at the connection either at firewall or where headlights and turn signals come out of the wiring bundle on the PS by the RHD pedal box cover plate.
 
Alrighty, looks to be the wrong wires run to the wrong connectors at the socket. Switched them around and things are working out as they should be.
 
Thanks everyone for the help on this, I'm pretty lousy at electrical. It looks like that would be an easy mistake to make, I don't see any way to determine which terminal is which other than trial and error.
 
Original wiring diagram and wires would keep it straight. Other than that, your method.

Take that back!! The wires would stay straight but which spot on the bulb holder...probably not.
