I just put 1000 miles on my new combination clutch/brake
Master cylinder on my bug eye. It is pushing brake fluid out the vent hole in the cap
What is going on?

If you mean that you see a little squirt when you have the cap off and you release the clutch then that is correct- the fluid returns to the resevoir with some force.

No. I mean when the cap is on. There is so much pressure that it pushes fluid out the gasket. I tightened the screws and it stopped leaking there but it still comes out the cap vent hole.

Wow, check for overfilling.

Which aftermarket MC did you buy? I've rebuilt in the neighborhood of 300 originals and never encountered such an issue. Something's not right. You are certain you don't have a leaking fitting?

Air.
You hit the pedal, you compress the air in the lines, let go, it expands quick and squirts fluid out.
Seen it.
Lots more than once.
