In 1975, I saw an ad for a 140 in a Retail Clerk Union's newsletter, $2500. Asked my dad if he was interested, and he said yes. Called on the ad and the car was still available.
In the 20 minutes it took to drive to see the car, it was sold. Saddest looking 140 I've seen, to this day. No windshield, car left out in the weather, and the interior was completely destroyed.
Probably lucky we didn't buy it. I went on to a succession of Datsun roadsters, more my speed financially.
