Howdy,
I've been registered for a couple of years now but have yet to post.
I bought my rustbucket TR3 and promptly trailered it to a friends house for repair. It sat for over a year as he cut out the cancer and welded in new metal when he had time. He gradually lost interest and overcharged me, so I took it to a real body shop to finish the job and slap on some paint.
Now, two years later, I'm starting the reassembly process. I am mostly using the original parts but some are too far gone. The replacement parts that i've been ordering have been surprisingly bad quality in both fit and finish, which makes for a slow and frustrating project. The car is a runner (or at least it was) and just needs a brake job once it all goes back together.
I'm looking forward to driving it, hopefully in the spring before our Arizona summer.
