TR2/3/3A fuel pumps from Turkey

For what ever reason the best(?) re-pro on the market is now from Turkey.
be advised it has a fatal flaw!!!! The fulcrom pin is NOT as original, cross drilled
into the housing and pressed into place. The new ones the pin is set in a grove
and "keepers" pressed into each end to hold the pin in place. It soon comes adrift
and the fulcrom pin moves inward, pumping less and less fuel as it creeps. You wont lose a motor
because it will die before the bits fall into the sump. The diagnosis is that you can start the
engine with the primer handle ,but it will die on its own.....

This was a problem a few years ago as I recall - has it cropped up again? What a pity.

A customer just got one from Moss, I put it in the corner with the others. You can take them
apart and re-build an OE core. The issue is the lower inner seal is un-obtainium....

On my original TR4 pump the fulcrum pin is secured with what appeared to be E-clips. I have had repros that were pressed in and failed (Canadian if I recall right).

Is that seal even necessary? Pretty sure none of my pumps have had one for many years.

Not saying Turkish pumps are good -- no experience with those.
