Thought of the Day

I know a Car Guy whose fiance said that she'd "change him & all that silly car stuff".
He wasn't married very long to her.
That was a true story.

I have a good friend whose wife died a few years ago. When he started dating again, one of the women suggested he get rid of the pictures/ memories of his wife. He found it way easier and quicker to get rid of the woman.
:rolleyes2:

PS he is happily and joyfully remarried - just not to that woman.

It’s just afraid to cross the road.

A married couple found a leaflet in their newspaper this morning which read: " Are you an alcoholic? Call now. We can help"

The wife insisted that the husband make the call, so he called.

It was a liquor store offer: Buy 3 get one free.
I had a friend in college, who had no tolerance at all for alcohol, even the thought of it made him drunk. Once, we gave him a non-alcoholic drink then told him there was gin in it. He immediately acted drunk. He saw an ad saying to call them if you had a drinking problem He called and when he explained his lack of tolerance for alcohol, they hung up on him.

I once wrote the Lonely Hearts Club -
They wrote back, saying "We're not that lonely".
