I know a Car Guy whose fiance said that she'd "change him & all that silly car stuff".
He wasn't married very long to her.

I have a good friend whose wife died a few years ago. When he started dating again, one of the women suggested he get rid of the pictures/ memories of his wife. He found it way easier and quicker to get rid of the woman.

PS he is happily and joyfully remarried - just not to that woman.
