Three relics...the De Havilland Comet.
Two and a half??
At least BOAC is now British Airways.
I won a round trip for two to London from British Airways back in 1985 or 1986.
Tickets for two, plus hotel choice, I chose an apartment at the Grosvenor House.
It was an anniversary where anyone flying that day also got free tickets.
The others like me were a lottery from newspaper entries.
I still have my gold tie tack of the Concord which they handed out on the flight out.
Took my good friend back then as her birthday gift.
I loved to travel back then, now you can't get me to travel commercial even for free.

Which of these vintage land cruisers do you prefer?

Mine is most like the one in the first or last picture….

The one in the second picture is strangely alluring !

Dave - that's quite a Healey. Good to see you here again!

I pop in every now and then. I thought the look of this polished aluminum body was worth sharing...but I would not want to be driving behind it on a sunny day.
