I thought this was fair police....
My brain is so soft it took me a while to get it.
New York State Trooper in Flushing Meadows with 1969 Worlds Fair globe.
You are probably right about the year.Actually with the 1964/65 World's Fair globe. I somewhere have a picture of me at about 7yo with it when my grandmother took me for a week to the fair. We were in SW rural Oh at the time.
Still about but off the road
As a teenager I also grew up on the north shore of Long Island.……….I'll never forget the very cool Chrysler Turbine cars silently driving around a small track.
Truly believed that would be the future of automotive engines forever.![]()
I didn't like the new Mustang at all, but even at that age I was nuts for foreign cars.I do remember riding in the Mustangs at the Ford Pavillion, but I have to admit as a little kid then it didn't really impress me. But for a small town Ohio kid, a trip to NYC for a week was something that has stuck in my brain. Staying in a distant cousin's run down Brooklyn hotel, riding the subway and some general sightseeing too. My grandmother was a great one doing stuff for my brothers and I as we grew up.
The MG or the blondes?Nice.
I don't dig their attitude but it could just be an act.The MG or the blondes?
