Growing Old

I accept the fact I'm closing in on 89 now, and I actually enjoy telling younger folks that the Sunbeam Alpinr I have in the garage I've had now over 51 years so longer than many who've asked have been alive.

Didn't notice, hit the wrong keys as I'm closing in on 70, not quite 89 yet.... Sometimes I touch type fine, other times an oops or two can creep in.

If you remember to get out of bed in the 1st place.

Interesting - I would say that was 70's not 80's but, aside from the sentiment (which I agree with) it sure seems that AI is getting better and better - though the car in the background either has three doors or the biggest vent window I have ever seen.

Nice catch!

The girl is also standing on a patch of grass in the middle of the street.

VERY STRANGE INDEED, roof racks on a sedan?

The kid's shoes/socks say 70s too to me. In fact I still have a pair of those sneakers from when I was a teen in the early 70s, they're considered classics now and if you hit the right vintage site can go for good money if you want to sell.

The top of the car is in a different color than the bottom in a combination that would never be offered by a dealer.

That’s a Mercedes w123 6 door limo
In their metallic brown hence the colour variation from sun to shade

And if you state it with enough “gravitas” it must be true. …..

Then sneak in a picture
