I know I'm not the only one who can definitely relate to this! It would be funny if it wasn't so true!

Looking at what those kits are selling for these days you seem to have nice IRA in your closet.
Here's one I have. It's an early 1990s reissue of an early 60s kit I got as one of the first I ever had. I got the original back in 64 when I was almost 7, my grandmother took me from rural Ohio where we lived to the NYC World's Fair that summer. And as part of it, we got the kit at Macey's while there. I still remember that trip and bits and pieces of the fair like riding the skyride, doing the Ford ride in the Mustang and the Disney "Small World" ride. We had relatives who lived there, had a Brooklyn area hotel we stayed in.
