TR2/3/3A Setting the SU carb jet again.......

I just install the jet…didn’t know you could control the height. Using the supplied seals mine comes out just above the base of the Venturi with the choke stowed. The base of the needle must be set, though, it should be flush with the base of the piston.

I agree with the above regarding both the jet and the needle. The height of the jet is controlled by the adjustment nut. Once you get the carb put together. You adjust the height by turning the adjusting nut the 12 flats. That lowers the jet to the starting height.
