Can we talk about Toilets?

I've had a look at the choices Toto has. For any of the offerings I'd want, we'd have to take out a loan, but don't want to make TWO installments at a time for the privvy-lege. Appears we'l be squattin' on a Kohler or American Standard throne. 😏
Hey doc.... maybe you can find a used one of these

I was going to go for that but Lowes was out of stock!
To get a space toilet you’ll have to go to Uranus (someone had to say it :sneaky:)

Y'all have gotten spoiled. I lived in a house once as a kid in which the toilet was just a hole my dad and I dug in the ground and then drug the outhouse over. My mom hated that house.

Yeah, I’ll admit, I’m spoiled. I prefer to sit on something made of porcelain

And you probably have a car with cup holders too.
Well,back in my day........
Don't start saying that, Tom will chime in with how he used to have to hook up the oxen to go to market.

And did his school work on the cave walls :nana:
And here are some of his childhood drawings.

Getting back to toilets - Comparing my water usage for the same period last year since to this year since I installed this low-flow toilet, our water usage has so far been about half what it was. At that rate this ToTo should pay for itself in less than a year. Nothing else has changed in our typical water consumption - I mean I still take my weekly shower ;)

Have had the Toto in the Master bath for 7 months now. We have been so impressed by it that I ordered a second one just like it. It arrives today and will be installed in the guest bathroom.

Dorothy would be proud!

I installed two Toto toilets about twenty years ago - with the "slow close" seat. Never a problem since new.

I have been amazed at the flush technology of these newer Toto toilets. 1.28G per flush and I ave yet to have a clog up. I do love that slow close seat too!
