Well,that was crappy.
 
Regarding low flow toilets... It seems we that have septic tamks have more trouble with the line backing up because there may not be enough water to shove the waste to the tank. I will say that installing the toilet turned out to be quite easy and painless. I spent most of the time taking out damaged bolts.

And I agree the Toto is a good brand, besides I really love Africa and Rosanna. Greast tunes. ;)

I have a septic system and so far, no issues (knock on wood).
 
We have only ToTo toilets and, well, "love" them. <smirk> They make some REALLY expensive ones that open as you approach them (ala feed-me Seymour).
We also have, and I'm hesitant to admit this, a Brondell "washlet" (bidet) fitted to one of them.

Ours is not the most expensive model they make, but it wasn't exactly cheap either compared to many other brands and models we could have bought. Now that I have it, and see how much my water use has decreased since installation, I'm feeling like it was a pretty good investment in the long run.
 
Best thing for rattlesnakes is a 410 shotgun. That's what my grandfather always used. Or if you have one of those 45 Colt/410 revolvers that would be fine too.
 
I installed a Jakuzzi elongated tall, wife hates it as it is too tall for her. She has a small round upstairs. I thought about another for down stairs, but after thirty yrs., was time for a comfortable one for me. Will change next remodel.
 
I have a S&W model 19 loaded with snake shot.
 
Somehow the thought of sitting on a toilet, connected to a septic system, with rattlesnakes nearby ... makes me a bit nervous.

If a snake could get in your septic system, there's a major flaw in the system.
