It seems like that to me as well. I suspect that it has more to do with Triumph typically having more cubic inches than their MG counterpart. I also feel like they were marketed more as 'sports' cars and MG more as cruisers.I worked races for the SCCA on the grid/pits, seemed to be more Triumphs, be it TR3s, TR4s and Spitfires than MGs.????
