I have a bunch of trophies and plaques out in the garage on some shelves (great dust and cobweb collectors). I had one in particular that was a "people's choice" award that was literally 3.5 feet tall. The last time I did a garage cleaning (couple months ago) I finally disassembled that monstrosity and tossed all but the plaque that sat in top. I have never displayed past trophies along with my cars when I was showing. It never occurred to me to do that, but I don't have a problem with people who want to do.Looking at some show photos, people have their trophies on display with the car. I don't do that as I think it's tacky! I have two large boxes packed full of them but got tired of cleaning them so put them away. But, that's just me.![]()

Once upon a time.Wait, you guys win trophies?
I am inclined to agree about the size - not just in terms of 'image' but also in terms of taking it with you. I figure if it doesn't fit handily in the car you shouldn't bring it. I have seen guys at crusie nights who have a few trophies in the backseat but, mostly I figure they should stay at home. I have a group of plaques that I have won and they all rest in a 'display pile' leaning against the wall on the top of a bookcase in my office.Slightly off topic.
Display boards with the story of the car and photos. How big should it be?
I have a board with 3 photos 81/2" by 11" and a few lines of explanation.
For Christmas last year my daughter and son in law did a display. He does adverts for companies as a second job. It is great but it is 6' tall and at least 3' wide. Have never used it as I feel it is over the top. Pity because he did a great job on the photos.
