Well, yesterday my old International tractor gave me a little excitement, pulling up to the barn it caught on fire under the dash! Got it out quickly, but it burnt up a few wires where the throttle cable came out of its bracket and hit the ignition switch hot wire. Actually welded the throttle cable inside the housing, burn up the voltage regulator, and 3 feet of wiring harness! Took all day to repair with three trips to NAPA. Never a dull moment. Oh yeah, the fire was at the rear of the fuel tank, been a long time since I've moved that fast! :scared:

It's 154 International Lowboy Walter I use for trimming fence lines.

One of the last IHs. Those were pretty decent little tractors.
 
Glad you got the fire put out in time!
I would love to find a IH Cub Lo Boy as nice as yours. The few for sale around here are used up and worn out!

When I bought this one I had to replace the clutch, flywheel and driveshaft, plus I replaced the PTO clutch assembly, new belts all around and numerous other things. Gave $2500 for it and spent another $1000 getting it usable. There is a parts dealer in Ohio that has just about everything for them. It is old but has the sweetest running engine you could want. I use it all the time. PJ
