Back from a week camping in Arizona

Hey, it may have wiped out 90 percent of life on Earth, but at least we got this really cool bracelet!

Not sure I'd want to wear a bracelet tainted with Iridium having traveled through the radiation in space for a long time. :p

Nice photos! Watching other tourists... :p I've been mostly city bound for far too long, with recommendations even here about how far to travel... I'm craving a good prairie trip rather badly...

I was in Jerome in the mid-'50s. It was a real ghost town then.

We were planning on going this next week, but the temperatures between here and there would be too much for poodles.

My favorite shot is the sunset with lightning in the Grand Canyon.

That’s highway 89 that runs through Jerome. That was the main route from Phoenix to Flagstaff. Big trucks and all went down that hill.
Just flew over on Tuesday returning from WV and noticed a large fire north west of Flagstaff....do you know anything about it?
Lovely pictures that make me miss the area. There is so much to see around there.
