Been meaning to post this story for a few months... last fall when I was getting ready to put my Hot Rod Model A away for the winter at my friends garage a buddy of his came over to check it out as he had recently bought his own Model A project (don't worry I'm getting to the British Car part of the story), this guys wife is there rolling her eyes at her husband saying "if it was up to me I would have an MG"... I perk up & ask "what kind of MG", she smiles & reply's "a Midget, just like my friend had in highschool, we had so much fun in that car, every time we would finish classes we would have to walk around the parking lot to find out where the guys had picked it up & moved it on us"...
I just had a gut feeling & said "let me guess your friends name was Brenda?" she looks at me dumbfounded & reply's "yes, how in the world did you know that" I smile & proceed to tell her that I own the exact car she is talking about & show her the picture below from my wedding back in 2013, by that night I have tracked "Brenda" down on facebook & she shared the pictures below when she owned it (in the 1980's) - so cool to see it with the correct sidetrim & now I know where the Triumph seats came from - Brenda installed them (I have since replaced with proper seats) - the owner after Brenda was the one who restored in the early 1990's apparently it was quite a "heap" when he got it, just fun to make the connection, Brendas friend wants to buy the car off me in a bad way... but I love my 67, might let the 74 go but not my 67
