Hey Dude nice set up, funnily enough, I am in the process of wiring in a pair of spots and a pair of fogs and possibly an ammeter and was considering the location for the bracketry, I had not thought about under the heater, I was looking to extend the existing instrument pod over to the heater control unit, just about enough room for an add-on.

Thanks! I agonized quite a while on the mounting location and bracket type. In the end I decided to go somewhat period correct. Below are pictures of some of the options I considered before deciding.

Olin,

Yes, I screwed the mounting bracket into the bottom section of the heater panel. I though about using adhesive, so I would not have to drill any holes, but in the end, my original bottom heater panel is on the shelf, and I and found another bottom panel to put the holes in! :peaceful:
