Hang on fellas- i will post some more pics in a bit. She is a 78 Bonneville 750. I purchased it from a guy in Bangor Me. Talk about a motivated seller! He delivered it. Bangor is about a 7 hour tour - one way.

Bike needs the kicker return spring replaced and I want to go back to the original mufflers.I also noted that the rear brake line looks original so i will be replacing that as well. other than that...it is real purtty.

Very nice. Only thing I'd do is pop on a flatter set of bars (personal preference) once the mechanicals/safety are sorted. Then go ride it. A lot!

Mine is 78 T140E. It came with some very noisy peashooter mufflers. I replaced them with EMGO Dunstall Reverse Cone Replicas. Much quieter and I like really like the look.

Hey guy's, new member here. nice bikes. I've got a 79' T-140E myself red with a black flash. I'll post pics. when I figure out how to. "Said James, in my opinion.. there's nothing in this world.. beat's a 52' Vincent and a redheaded girl." by Richard Thompson. Oh yeah, Great song!

Welcome to the Zoo markinmtns!

post a pic when you get a chance.

I took mine for a quick test ride last weekend. I had to do a couple of things to ease my mind. Put on a more stock looking exhaust, replaced the rubber brake lines, new rear master cyl, new fuel lines, changed all the fluids, checked all the nuts and bolts and fixed the horn. so far i am very pleased.

Mark,

Forgot to mention - if the tires are questionable-
read that you don't know how old they are - replace
them! This is one of the most important things to do
on an older bike.
I'd hate to see something bad happen to your bike.

Fastest ride I ever had on the back end of a motorcycle, notice I said back end, was a T-110 in 1958. I let my buddy ride it and he was a little on the crazy side. So was I for getting on it with him! Boy that was a nice machine!
Looked like this only black and chrome. Yeah, if had it now, I'd probably kill my self on it!
