Holy Crap Dan!

you've done it again.

Your timing couldn't have been better. I've been sifting through the diagram out of the factory manual and one I have from the "Glenn's Triumph Repair and Tune-up Guide" that dad bought in the 60's and trying to track down a short that kills the tail lights, fuel guage, and wipers.

Your version is MUCH easier to read.

Dan; what can I say except WOW!! Well I guess a little bit more. I plotted the B/W version 24 X 36 and is attached to the wall next to my TR3A. Can wait to see what this one looks like plotted out at 24 X 36. Thanks Dan for the continuing contribution to our hobby and passion. I think I still owe you a CD!

Thanks Dan! Great work! As luck would have it I had just gotten back this evening from having a 17 x 24 copy of the B/W version printed and laminated at Kinko's! Had I only waited a couple more hours! But I'm lucky to have that one as it is a great diagram which clears up a ton of confusion I had been having for the last 2 1/2 years trying to figure out why my '71 TR6 didn't seem to match up with the often-erroneous diagram in the Haynes manual! thanks again for clearing things up! I think I'm one door-jam switch and ignition-warning buzzer away from tying up the last of the TR6 mystery wires!

Hello Jim,
a quick tip to reduce the work in tracing short circuits in a single fuse, multi application as you described is to split each application and put a temporary fuse to each single circuit. That way you narrow down the hunt.
Shorts are commonly trapped wires after doing some work, i.e. trapping between two components or wires chafed where they pass through a gap or hole.

That is pretty much what I figured, this is a good project if the whole car is apart for restoration. Or you will almost end up restoring it in the process of installing it. Seems like he just finished, so its too new to know what the problems may become.
