Ok, so I don't have the car home til Saturday, ( 76? TR7) but I have been able to look at a few things beforehand and right away I noticed that the wiring is gonna need some love. While I am a fair hand at fixing up wiring, with this car I would much rather replace it all with new, for reliability sake. That said, what is the best source for complete, nose to tail replacement harnesses? I only wanna do this once, and I am more than willing to pay for quality stuff. This is my 15 year old stepsons project, so I want this car to last and be as trouble free as possible.

British Wiring seems to be the go-to place. I suspect that the harnesses you get from others are sourced from them, anyway.
That said, do you really need to replace the harness? In my opinion, a lot of perfectly restorable harnesses are replaced unnecessarily. Unless you have hardened or cracking insulation, or burned areas, you really don't need to replace the harness. Damaged sections can be replaced. If the insulation is bad on the visible ends, it's probably OK down under the harness wrapping, so you can cut it back to good wire and solder in a new piece, insulated with shrink-wrap tubing.
Tarnished ends of the copper wire can be brightened by dipping them in a weak acid. I use highly diluted HCl, but even vinegar or lemon juice should work. Once it's clean, dip the end in ammonia (or some other alkali) to neutralize the acid.
On the other hand, I realized that these kinds of repairs might be more trouble than just ripping out the whole thing and replacing it all at once. It's a trade-off, but don't immediately discard the idea that it all can be fixed.

Well, since I haven't been able to give the wiring a full inspection yet, ( hopefully tomorrow, going to pick it up this afternoon) I am going to look over everything carefully as we pull the car apart for restoration, and it has been sitting for some time, so the possibility of rodent damage is pretty high. I want this car to be as reliable as possible, so if it's even slightly questionable, it will be replaced.
