Where do I get one of these mirrors?

I am still busy at it trying to put my Bugeye back together. I am not looking forward to drilling holes to install a side mirror after my new paint job. I saw a mirror for a bugeye on ebay once that utilized the two holes the screws go through to hold the windsheild post on the driver's side. Has anyone seen one of these before, and can you tell me where I can get one? What mirror was stock for this car - I have a 1960?

Miss Agatha uses a Harley Davidson mirror in the rear hole. Works like it was designed for the Bugeye. As I remember it was $15 and is excellent chrome.

That would work, they have several styles like that. When I got mine it was $15 bucks from Harley Store. They make a right side and a left side.

Soooooo, you just remove the "screw" in there and run the mirror into the hole? Nut it from the inside? Seems too easy. What about a nut on the outside to tighten against the windshield frame? I like the look of wing mounted mirrors but I'm told they aren't all that functional and you have to have holes in the fenders. Yuck. Sorry for the questions, hate buy stuff that doesn't fit if I can help it.

The mirror has a bit of a taper thing that goes into the windsheld mount hole to hold it just so.

Got 'em. Fit okay. Was able to mount for good usabilty. I think they look alright. Still might someday get fender ones though.

Look darn good to me. Now keep in mind I think they will hit your side curtans unless you twist em out of the road which is fine for most of us guys. Not much top up time.

I have one of those... the darn thing already has rust on the screw heads, and I didn't even touch them with a screwdriver.

No rust on mine. I got em from a Harley dealer, the real thing.

Yep! As a general rule, Harley chrome tends to be pretty good quality!(They use SO MUCH of it!!

The ones I got off ebay look okay. These are not left/right specific, I believe the official HD ones are? I have a large Harley dealer right up the road from me, they had these mirrors in stock but they had Harley Davidson written on the stem $20 each. The ones I got are a stem, the mirror head slides on and is secured by a set screw so you can rotate the stem in the mounting hole, the mirror can spin around the stem and slide up or down, then the mirror itself can be pivoted. Even so I had to fiddle to get a decent view without the mirror ending up behind the window frame or too low to interfere with the door opening. I'll wax the daylights out of them in the hope of keeping them pretty for a while. Drove the car last night and they function well, good view, easy to reach over and tweak either one as you drive. I'm okay with them. They look like they belong I think although the wing mounted ones look cooler (IMHO), fender mounts have some disadvantages: trying to work around them when tinkering in engine bay and questionable functionality as useful mirrors, the need to drill holes. These are easily ditched if needed. Not sure the side curtains will sneak between them and the window frame but if not, the few times I have the top on, I can just push them out of the way.
PS I got the 4" ones.

I got mine on Ebay too. From the description above, it sounds like I ordered the same ones. With postage and handling, they ended up being a little less than 15$ a piece. They are made in Taiwan, but I am not sure that paying a little more from a Harley dealer would have gotten me much better.m Personally I can never tell how good the chrome is until it sits outside for a while. If I knew for sure they were made in the US I would have opted for the Harley mirrors. If it is just the set screw or screws int the back that rust, I'll probably just replace them with stainless steel.
