My dual weber carbs arrived today and unfotunately, it looks like one of them suffered some minor damage in transit. To add to the complexity of the situation, no manuals were included. The problem is what appears to be a spring rod has broken off (see red circle) where this rod connects to a small spring and attaches the other end of the spring to the throttle linkage (see thick red line).
The last photo shows how it should look. (The undamaged one).
Anybody know if that spring rod simply screws into place and I could back it out and replace it with a new one? Other ideas?
