Doug:

Home:
Eureka is on the route during return trip as intend leave Seattle I-5 S to Grants Pass hwy 199 to overnite in Crescent City, do the Avenue of The Giants Redwood Park hwy 101 through Eureka to Bodega Bay or should it be socked in by fog (hwy 20 out of Fort Bragg to Santa Rosa to Bodega Bay) hwy 1 to Stinson Beach to hwy 101 (great road) cross Golden Gate Bridge hwy 1 to hwy 280 to hwy 17 Santa cruz hwy 1 through Monterey, Carmel, Big Sur to San Luis Obispo hwy 101 s

Going:
3am start I-5 to get out of the urban sprawl, then desolate stretch between LA & Redding where the scenery gets scenic (Lake Shasta area) hwy 97 out of Weed, Ca to Oregon side of Mighty Columbia River cross river @Bridge of the Gods (Cascade Locks) to Portland I-5 N to Seattle

Looking to be in the running for my fav "Longest Distance Driven" to get there recognition:smile:

Leaved on Capital Hill (76-95) before need for more sunshine overruled anything else, still have Family & Friends there. Burien 1st week, @All Triumph Drive In Cle Elum (8/10-14th) you should ride out pre-registered 92 TRIUMPhs thus far should be over 100 by showtime and it's just down the road a piece from Kirkland (bought my TR from Family that lived in Kirkland)

TR under the wrench @Eller's British 8/15-19th arranged for my heads removed/rebuild/replaced and prothane bushings for front suspenion with other major tune items. Mechanic of choice since 1983 so I got that week of shoptime.

Rental Car to Ocean Shores with Granddaughter 8/19-21 Family (Kent) last week before heading home 8/29 To soak in the natural beauty of the NorthWest besides the usual cruises over both floating bridges, make a point to drive around Lk Washington, Mercer Island and will do Chuckanut Drive up north before I leave, then back home to rest:smile:
